Stretto
"Formed in 2005, Stretto is a unique ensemble consisting of Miriam Kapner (oboe), Meliset Abreu (guitar), and Rebecca Cherry (violin). The trio's artistic vision is combining performance of original arrangements of well-known classical music, as well as commissions and collaboration with modern composers to create new works for Stretto. Past concerts include performances at the Lunch Together series at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, and the Noontime Chamber Music Series concerts at the Interchurch Center. The trio toured Kaua'i in the spring of 2006, as part of the Kaua'i Concert Association chamber music series. Additionally, Stretto participates in educational outreach concerts for children of all ages in the Greater New York area, and most recently during their tour to Kauai. The group was recently added to the roster of artists for Hospital Audiences, Inc."
