"Angela has been a dancer since the young age of 5, where she stepped into ballet shoes and pranced through various Nutcrackers and shows for 23 years. She ventured through jazz, tap, street funk, African dance of all spectrums (Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Haitian and Caribbean). She also tackled pointe, modern, improvisational work, contact improv, interpretive, house dance and theater work through college and her graduate degree"..."Her interests include languages, nonverbal semiotics, tribal studies, Native and Asian studies, alternative medicine, yoga, butoh and interpretive dance. Angela is open to teach, study, and collaborate with other artists in the US and across the globe."
